Ben and his balloon
Handling with gaz and powerful burners; I always told my sons, needs care and comprehension. So flying a hot air balloon should not happen before the age of fifteen. Ben, on his birthday, did remember me my advice.
Soon after he started weaving a basket. I installed the gaz technique, he took one of my envelopes, the 84 cubic.met 'Chio Chips' balloon, a 'Ballon Libert' construction, and after only a few training flights, he made a third place in 2002 at the international Balloon meeting in Brigachtal/Germany, under over 30 participating pilots.
In 2007 on the 23rd Brigachtaler Model Balloon Meeting , Ben was the winner of the event with more than sixty modelballoons.
